Substitutes for Bad Foods

Here is the short list of bad foods, and some suggestions of what to use instead:
Nasty fats – instead use coconut oil, avocado oil, organic butter, ghee, and good lard (yes, there is such a thing). Please note! Fat is where pesticide takes hold. This is an important place to buy organic.
Aspertame and sugar – instead use erythritol and xylitol sparingly, use stevia, which is an herb, typically found as an extract, raw local honey, and maple syrup as needed. Here’s a trick! If you will use just a little less for two weeks, your taste buds will change, and get used to that as “normal.” Then use just a little less than that!
Soda pop – use flavorings in soda water, like a little lemon/lime squeezed into it or peppermint flavoring.
Processed food – choose less processed food whenever possible. Choose organic foods when possible (check out the Environmental Working Group’s Dirty Dozen to see what foods are most important to buy organic. One of the top foods they say we need to buy organic is berries. Think about coffee. It’s a dried berry! Buy organic coffee if you can.

Remember: if you are a Walker, pick the easiest of these to switch out, get that done, and then move on to the next bad food to remove from your kitchen when you’re ready. Tapping for the anxiety about doing this will absolutely help. Please use it!
If you are a Jumper, of course you will quickly get all of the bad food out of your kitchen, go to the store and buy new foods, and look online for how to use them. Remember that you also will experience some anxiety, so use tapping whether you actively feel it or not. Also, put something in your calendar to remind yourself to use tapping, and for what is next on this program.
