Falling Off the Wagon

What happens if I “fall off the wagon?”
You’ll need to get back on the wagon. That’s all. You start over. No big guilt please, not even small guilt, that’s not productive at all! Just get back on the program you have chosen as soon as you realize that you have fallen off. That sounds a little funny, but it’s true. Our minds do funny things, and we reach for and eat something that is absolutely not on our current list of foods, and of course we didn’t tap for it, we were thinking about something else entirely, and it happened.
What is really important, really critical, is this:
the minute you realized what has happened,
you acknowledge what has happened,
analyze why you did what you did, that is, why you were not paying attention,
make a note to self, “the next time I’m in this kind of a situation, here’s what I want to do instead”
Then you drink a lot of water to help wash out whatever it is you have eaten, and start over! So what is your intention now? Do you want something to eat now? Test! Do you have an uncomfortable feeling now? Tap! Etc.
